Amino Acids Versus Protein Powders – Which is the Best?
A lot of people have been wondering, lately, which is the best between amino acids and protein powders. Frankly, they are both important, and they can not be disputed which one is the best.
However, in order to eliminate the confusion, in the following lines there will be presented the correct ways of taking these supplements.
First of all, never take as many scoops or number of pills as it is written on the etiquette. In order to increase the muscles, the athletes should take at least twice more.
So there are 2 types of amino: with fast and low absorption. The amino acids from whey have a high speed of absorption, therefore, they must be taken first thing in the morning and after the training while the amino acids from milk – Amino 2700 from Universal is such a protein- should be taken in the evening, before sleep, and during the day.
As concerning the protein powders, they should be taken exactly on the same principles as for the amino acids. The main difference between them is the fact that the solid amino acids are easier to carry than the protein powders, who require water and a shaker.
Also, if an athlete decides to take protein powders, he must know that his stomach won’t be stimulated too much to digest the protein powder. Therefore, in order to prevent that, the athlete must eat something solid -like a biscuit, or a slice of bread- before drinking the protein shake. But, if the athlete decides to ingest amino acids, due to the fact that they are solid, the stomach will be forced to digest them. And due to the fact that they are easy to digest and absorb, the muscle growth will be…detected in the mirror quite soon.
Though, both of these type of supplements are mandatory, and therefore, we can not tell if one is more important or more effective of the other, because they both have the same importance.
