Many people have fallen into the trap of what I call the metabolic spike. The metabolic spike is a situation that takes place when a person undertakes a vigorous, unsupervised (or even supervised) exercise program which causes an extreme rise in the metabolism, only to suddenly fall, leaving the individual feeling exhausted and incapable of a speedy recovery. This behavior can be instigated by many different triggers, but stress is usually a factor, not only the usual everyday stresses, but the additional burden of rushing through a workout. The metabolic spike can be counterproductive to what the person is actually trying to accomplish.

People use protein for many different reasons, in fact most people automatically associate increasing their protein with ending up looking like a ‘body builder or muscle man’ which isn’t what most people want to achieve. However there is a huge proportion of the UK population that don’t take in enough protein each day and it’s simply because they are totally unaware of how much protein they should be having. Now that doesn’t sound a lot I know, but in fact that’s the equivalent of eating around 3 average size chicken fillets each day! So break it down again, think along the lines of what most people have for their breakfast:- toast with cereals, yes the milk contains some dairy protein, lunch:- perhaps a sandwich, crisps, piece of fruit and a bar of chocolate seems a pretty average working day lunch. But depending upon what the sandwich contains, maybe Tuna, ham, beef, egg or just salad then this too contains a small amount of protein and for this example lets say the person eats a chicken fillet for their evening meal giving them an extra 25g of animal protein. Ideal Body Measurements – How to Get the Perfect Body With Muscles Women Like
Do you know your ideal body measurements? Are you trying to build muscles women like? What is the perfect body anyway? Like many guys, I always equated the perfect body with bigger muscles. However, this big, bulky look isn’t always attractive. If that were the case, then Hollywood stars would all be bodybuilders. That’s far from the case when one of the hottest bodies in Hollywood belongs to a very lean, well defined Taylor Lautner. So what are your ideal body measurements and how can you workout to get the perfect body?
I am going to provide a few different methods for determining your ideal body measurements. I will use my own body as an example of how to use these methods to develop your own personal goals to build a perfect body. For reference below, I am 5’8″, 137lbs, 30.5″ waist, 41″ chest, 47″ shoulders.
A Bodybuilder’s Ideal Measurements
In my quest to determine ideal body measurements, I first started by evaluating what the ideal bodybuilder would look like. Bodybuilding legend Steve Reeves’ measurements are considered an ideal in the bodybuilding world. According to a calculator using this methodology, I would need to have a 50″ chest and 30″ waist. Essentially I would have to add enough muscle mass such that my chest would grow bigger than my current shoulder width. I would have to do this while maintaining a 30″ waist and visible abs.
